So what is this “Freshbed Technology”? Zetter Hotel in London is said to be the very first to install such as system in two of their hotel rooms located at the top floor. What the system does is that it sends out air currents through the mattress, aiding the regulation of body temperature. Of course, the better your sleeping area is, the better you sleep. The system isn’t hard to operate. In fact, guests will be taught how to do it as soon as they arrive in the hotel room.
Zetter Hotel is one of London’s top 15 hotels.
Tags: hotels, sleepI thought that I have already seen just about anything people do with their mattresses but every time I check some videos out, I always stumble upon something new. Like this for instance, where a bunch of guys take mattress sports to another level. How is this game played, you ask?
Take a mattress off a bunk-bed, stand in the middle of the room and stand people around it. Spin while holding the mattress and everyone jump over it. The mattress IS heavy enough to knock you over if it even catches your foot.

This Miracle Mattress claims to have detoxification and therapeutic effects since it emits magnetic fields which supposedly help the body…and your blood flow, I guess. The video ad isn’t as comprehensive. Watch it yourself here.
Consumers aren’t easily fooled though, based on these reactions.

Notice all those electric wires all around? Well guess what, the current in all of them is also 50hz, and they all generate a magnetic field, that can be quite strong in places. Oh and it’s got nothing whatsoever to do with solar waves, which are actually in a much broader spectrum. My guess is it’s just a by-product of the electical heating, which they put a clever spin on.

There’s an interesting report on mattress trends as featured on ABC News. It touches on the basics of shopping for a mattress but it also covers on how consumers have plenty of choices with mattresses today that some even consider “financing” their purchases.
