A man, aged 80 years old, resorted to putting hot irons on his bed to keep his mattress warm. It resulted in his bed and blankets flaming up and burn him. This is the second time such an incident has happened and we should constantly be reminded that we need to keep our beds and sleeping spaces safe.

STAVROPOL, January 11 (RIA Novosti) - An 80-year-old resident of Pyatigorsk in the North Caucasus was killed by poisonous fumes when he used four electric irons to keep his bed warm, a local emergencies spokesman said on Friday.

Some people find it challenging to design a man’s bedroom because most patterns and style may come off as too feminine. Equally challenging is leaving the decision to the men, when it comes to choosing the right beddings,  since they tend to pick something that has too much of the frat-house feel. I went through with an abortion and…the doctors thought I would die. My husband is numbered among the best and had done all he could for me, except we are both ‘ignorant.’

According to this news story, one of the most bug-infested cities in the country is in Cincinnati, prompting residents and business leaders to campaign for more proactive awareness in the hopes of reducing and fighting off this…sucky problem. For instance, thrift stores have started refusing used mattresses or stuffed furniture and there is always a constant need to spray products for their own safety.

While many people concur about the support benefits offered by a Tempurpedic mattress, some also report of sleep loss due to excessive heat - a sort of catch-22 situation.

In response, memory foam manufacturers, including Tempurpedic, have introduced a convoluted layer of visco-elastic foam at the base of the mattress to help draw away air and heat.

While this definitely helps, some customers still report a temperature problem. Unfortunately for those who experience being uncomfortably hot, there is little to be done as the very structure of a memory foam mattress can’t be changed.

Whatever happened to this one I wonder? Does it still exist or have the city scrapped the idea?
