American Chiropractic Association’s Guide to Mattress Shopping
October was the National Chiropractic Month and in observance of this, the American Chiropractic Association via press release, sent guidelines to consumers when it comes to mattress shopping. Many suffer from chronic back pains as a result of sleeping on an improper mattress and according to the ACA, investing in a good bed is not only for your own comfort, it helps improve your health.
Their advice on what to look for in a mattress?
Support
- a good mattress should provide support completely. Gaps, such as in the waist area, isn’t full support.
- a good mattress should be firm, especially in the areas supporting the shoulders, hips and back.
