Supported by stainless steel tension cables, the Suspended Bed 2.0 (I wonder what happened to 1?) doesn’t actually move or swing about. Housefish guarantees the platform is “completely rigid”, a testament to the company’s engineering. Most of their furniture are uniquely and functionally designed for quality.

Handwoven bed frame? Hmmm…it hasn’t actually crossed my mind and I don’t think I have ever seen one yet, considering weaving is a big thing, where I’m based.
But here one sample by Gervasoni and designed by Paola Navone
Bed in handwoven dark pulut, wooden frame, stainless steel feet; upon request solid teak feet. Futon version: with two footboards and bed sides. Optional slat frame.

I kinda like the design of this particular mattress frame. It’s only made of brushed stainless steel but it still appears clean and hi-profile. The bed comes in three separate pieces for installation and this particular model fits a queen size mattress.

More than anything, a bed cupboard, such as this stainless steel bed and this cabana-inspired design from Kid Factory in Armsterdam, is a makeshift play area. Children will definitely enjoy a bed like this, but parents will perhaps frown on the price tag:

Would you like to sleep in a bed with frames made of stainless steel? My first reaction is to think of how cold it would have to be….like, freezer cold.
The use of metal for home furniture isn’t a fresh idea, but for beds, it probably is. I’ve not seen quite anything like it yet. The sleek design is from the ideas of DYAD New York. And this particular platinum bed, 3/4″ stainless steel and all, is actually a sexy center piece of the bedroom.

It’s not really an actual room, but more like a lounge bed or a day bed, which you can probably adorn with a customized mattress, for more comfort.
Stainless steel, teak, Sunbrella roof cover. Platform base includes built-in adjustable double lounger.

I literally had my jaw dropping when I saw this bed’s photo. Ain’t she absolutely gorgeous?
Designer Andy Ramsgard created this beauty by combining stainless steel and stained glass. The full effect of the bed frame may be seen when the bed is placed against a window. And you can see it shine in different colors.
