Supported by stainless steel tension cables, the Suspended Bed 2.0 (I wonder what happened to 1?) doesn’t actually move or swing about. It looks like this bed is suspended in midair but the fact is there are parts of the bed frame hinged to the wall and the mattress just extends beyond the frame. The whole thing brings this illusion of floating….which will probably work best for insomniacs or those who have trouble sleeping, as floating denotes a certain sense of calmness and might help them sleep better.
The frame is sturdy enough, so there’s no reason to worry that it might collapse under pressure.
