The Intellibed mattress contains Intelli-Gel®, a substance made of co-polymer gel that is designed exact body contouring and relieves pressure and discomfort zones when sleeping in different positions.

Intelli-Gel® is made from a space-aged co-polymer called Gelastic.It is not a viscous liquid like most gels, but rather a soft, very strong rubber-like material. It is so strong, in fact, that it can be stretched to over 20 times its resting length, and snap right back to shape! The Gelastic is formed into a series of support walls that are designed to stand firm under lighter loads, but to relax if the pressure gets too high. This provides the ultimate in comfortable back support, no matter what position you sleep in!
